So we’ve been donated a bleed control kit from the Daniel Baird Foundation. Let’s hope we never have to us it but still this is a step in the right direction 🥊 #teamboarshaw
In addition to our regular first aid kits and access to defibrillators, our BID Wardens now have a Bleed Control Kit.
It is accessible 24/7 days a week in the CCTV room within the Town Hall and can be requested by members of the public if they call 999.

Daniel Baird was only 26 when he was fatally stabbed in Digbeth. Lynne’s (mother of Daniel) bleed kit scheme was launched in Birmingham in collaboration with the city council, business owners and the police in 2019.
