How spectacular is this 😍 The humpback highway is in full swing at the moment, a perfect time to explore #NingalooReef and #ExmouthGulf , where many of these amazing creatures can be spotted all along the coast.

These humpback whales were recently spotted right in front of Qualing Pool, #ExmouthGulf 🐋
Another reminder of how special this place is. We cannot allow massive industrial projects to harm vital humpback whale habitat.

Today is World Wetlands Day, so we’re celebrating the incredible wetlands of #ExmouthGulf !
Wetlands provide vital habitat and nutrients to the Gulf, supporting many threatened species.
🎥Andre Rerekura filmed this in just one day!
From humpback whales to tiny seahorses, under the surface of #ExmouthGulf , there’s so much to see.
Allowing Exmouth Gulf to be exposed to industrialisation isn’t an option. This is a connected and diverse place, worth protecting.

🐍 There have been 15 species of sea snakes found in #ExmouthGulf , including the leaf scaled sea snake that was thought extinct until 2015. 🐍
Places like Exmouth Gulf deserve adequate protection to allow them to remain a stronghold for a vast diversity of life.

An incredibly special sight. Big ocean wanderers - leatherback turtles - are rarely seen along the Nyinggulu coast, unlike other turtle species.
#NingalooReef and #ExmouthGulf never fail to amaze us!

What better way to end the week than with whale sharks?!
We can't wait for these guys to cruise back in to Nyinggulu this year.
Wishing you a weekend inspired by the ocean, wherever you are 🐠
