The 3rd China-Africa Economic & Trade Expo kicked off in Changsha, Hunan Province ystd with 1,500 exhibitors from 29 countries, the largest economic & trade cooperation platform under the framework of FOCAC. China has been Africa's largest trading partner for 14 years in a row.

It’s official! 🇨🇳China to host the Forum of China- #Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) this autumn! Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi just announced at today’s press conference.
My friends from Africa and African studies, welcome and I’m looking forward to see you in Beijing.

Next year, China will host the FOCAC meeting. As we join hands to advance modernization, we will set a fine example in the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Wang Wenbin: Since the establishment of FOCAC, Chinese companies have built over 10,000 km of railway, up to 100,000 km of roads, 1,000 bridges and 100 ports in Africa, and many hospitals and schools. All countries should respect Africa's sovereignty and listen to Africa's voice.

Today Chinese FM Wang Yi announced a new meeting of the #FOCAC will be held in autumn in Beijing where Chinese and African leaders will discuss future development and cooperation and hold in-depth exchanges of governance experience.
