What are your guys thoughts of FSSP?

Every FSSP parish. Sent to the ghettos and packed in like sardines.

On the other hand, St. Alphonsus Liguori, the Baltimore parish staffed by the FSSP, is packed each Sunday.

Sola Requiem Attending an FSSP parish over the past year has resulted in a huge level up in my spiritual life. It’s beautiful, has great orthodox sermons, and everyone else in attendance takes the faith seriously (that’s a big one). Pics are from a 6AM Rorate mass this past December

Having attended the FSSP for about a year before I started attending the SSPX, this made me laugh so much, this meme and also how Fr. Nix described them both. 🤣

Just a reminder that St. Mary’s in St. Albans, VT is a gorgeous church that has been sitting empty since last year because the diocese could not afford the repairs needed. Would love if an order like the FSSP would take over it and make the necessary repairs

Ever since I heard this from an FSSP priest, it's remained on my mind.

Why do people believe this stuff? James was the leader of the Jerusalem community, not Peter. Christianity in 382 CE was quite diverse. It looked absolutely nothing like this picture. This stuff with FSSP has got to end. Why is Las Vegas style Infant of Prague part of that altar?

Reminder that the “Francis isn’t the Pope” phenomenon is completely exclusive to the Novus Ordo. None of the Society or FSSP or ICK believe that, it’s a Novus Ordo thing. Classical sedes are just outside the mainstream entirely. TLM societies have oaths against sedevacantism.

We've been several times to the FSSP parish in Baltimore (St. Alphonsus). It's beautiful, the people are welcoming (back then we knew little of the TLM rubrics), and filled to the brim with young families.

It's not rocket science, people. The Church will grow if we want it to.

It's wild to me how this and the FSSP or some conservative Eastern Catholic group can all be considered one unified faith. Sure, there's the proclaimed doctrine, but it seems to have varying connections with actual implementation & practice.
