We successfully completed a one-week training workshop on pesticide residues in fruits & vegetables under the facilitation of Dr. Doris Gerlanch from EU in Uganda, a team from MAAIF 🇺🇬, Feed the Future ISS 🇺🇬 and HortiFresh.
A lot was covered and we hope to see changes very soon.

In Tajikistan, USAID Bureau for Asia’s Zeinah Salahi visited communities overcoming food insecurity with @USAID support through Feed the Future. Our transformative cash-for-work program puts food onto tables, builds community resilience, and benefits tens of thousands of families.

As a result, small retail shops dukas now sell a better variety of foods, diminishing 7KM treks, and groups like R4N Melau Saving in Marsabit have aggregated 200 goats and sold them to livestock markets…
