Another busy few weeks for HMS St Albans as we regenerate from Engineering Project to Warship.

We’re home! We arrived back in Portsmouth overnight, having:
1️⃣Travelled nearly 13,000 nautical miles
2️⃣Generated enough power to supply the UK for 45mins
3️⃣Served 84,500 meals
4️⃣Entertained 1000 guests
5️⃣Achieved 944 deck landings

We recently proved our layered defence capability
Our wildcat helicopter started the exercise engaging the killer tomato with a martlet missile
The 4.5 and 30mm guns followed and the target was fully destroyed by our heavy and general-purpose machine guns

HMS MIDDLETON recently conducted the age-old tradition of a kit muster in preparation for defence engagement.
Our sailors know the value of maintaining their kit and pride themselves on representing the RN – ‘look after your kit and it will look after you’!

HMS BANGOR was privileged to host Commander Operations, Rear Admiral Edward Ahlgren OBE, in one of his last official engagements.
