HB 900 passed on 3rd reading. As did HB 890 parental any rights and 'don't say gay' pre k -12, as did HB100 school choice. All finally passed.

The #TxLege wants lesson plans posted online weeks in advance, but committees keep voting on bills — under new numbers, with entirely new content — they haven't posted online for all to see.

So. The superintendent, CFO and three board members (max allowed by law) met with two powerful senators who also happen to represent SBISD. We explained the financial situation. Guess what we got? Nothing. We will remember. Any cuts to the budget = their leadership failure + gov.

The truth is #ESA s are going to be INCREDIBLY difficult to undo if they pass. Please call your #txlege members and let them know you opposed the #ESA provision included in #HB100 . We need to set up our public schools to serve our students, and they need FULL FUNDING to do that!
