Besides Lithuania, the Netherlands is also joining the German IAAD initiative (€150 million). Excellent contribution, but likely means they won't supply a Patriot battery to #Ukraine . It would be exceptional to do that in addition to the €150 million.

NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg says NATO members are ready to provide #Ukraine with more air defence.

It appears that the German initiative via IAAD is paying off. Lithuania plans to join either the German-led IAAD or CC IAMD, possibly with air surveillance radars.

This is v. good from Pistorius & Baerbock - their ‘Immediate Action on Air Defence’ Initiative (IAAD) is a step forward in #Germany ’s approach.

Now to turn that to offensive weapons & get #Ukraine what it needs to stop the missiles & bombs coming in the first place - to WIN!
