“If children grow up not knowing about nature and appreciating it, they will not understand it, and if they don’t understand it, they won’t protect it, and if they don’t protect it, who will?” David Attenborough.
These pupils certainly appreciate nature 🦀

Class Three have been reflecting on their beach trips this term. After each visit we will discuss the journey, wildlife and experiences we had there and compare them to our other trips. We are also going to be learning about ecosystems and the role of the crab 🦀

The next stop on our beach tour was Silver Sands. No sign of crabs 😞 but we did find some bones and a fish.
The less said about the quicksand the better... 😬😂

The destination for week two of the Class Three beach tour was Cramond Beach. We saw lots of crabs, managed to not get stranded on the island 😅 and had a great time exploring. The pupils rated this their favourite beach so far mainly because of the crabs 🦀
