Siauliai - 6th stop

Initially I had decided against visiting Siauliai. But due to elictrification works the train towards Klaipeda stopped in Siauliai. With about 7 hours till the next train I enjoyed my time in Siauliai

Curonian Spit - 8th stop

The Curonian Spit National Park starts right across Klaipeda. It is a big sand dune which has overgrown with trees & grass. Nida is the mai. Town and located close to the Kaliningrad border. Also great for a bike trip (which I did)

Klaipeda - 7th stop

Finally arrived at the baltic sea coast, in Klaipeda. A lot of the city has been destroyed in the 2 wars so the city has an odd mix of historical, soviet and modern buildings.
