A reservoir has been recently built over it in the area which is serving the locals well.

One of the ancient temples dedicated to Sarasvati as Sharada, lies in the region of Kashmir, presently occupied by Pakistan. This temple and a Peetha, a seat of religion, in ruin now, lie on the banks of the Neelum river also called as Krishnaganga river.
