This past week my staff and I headed to Ocean City to attend the Maryland Association of Counties conference. It was a great opportunity to learn best practices to better meet the needs of my residents in District 2. #MACoCon

Comptroller Lierman had a great time meeting and flying kites with Ocean City Mayor Meehan at The Kite Loft while in town for #MACoCon !

At #MACoCon , I laid out our core principles to approaching this year's budget.

It's critical that we grow our economy while empowering people. We must be fiscally responsible, lead with a data-driven approach and channel our great potential into long-term economic growth.

Part 2: of the #JuvenileJustice panel series at ここん＠3歳児子育て中 inspired a lot of hope from locals sharing the wonderful work they are doing in their own communities. Cross-agency collaboration and coordination for prevention were a major focus.

I'm thrilled to be here in Ocean City to meet with our state's elected officials and the public servants working to solve the problems our communities face. The love for Maryland here is strong and we're going to leave this weekend a stronger state.

I was honored to receive a Recognition Award from Maryland Association of Counties this evening at their Winter Conference in Cambridge. I’m always glad to support our counties and first responders in the General Assembly. #MACoCon
