The Florida Manatee population is greatly impacted by seagrass loss. They consume about 100 pounds of seagrass a day, and this staple food is now scarce. Nearly 2,000 of them died in the last two years, most from starvation.

Manatees love to graze on seagrass and algae, but too often their diet includes something else - plastic.
.
Manatees have been found to consume plastic bags and other types of plastic, which can be deadly to them. This , symbolically adopt a manatee to support Ocea
