The great Manx poet T. E. Brown was born in May 1830. A lovely 1915 entry in this Dhoor School logbook tells us that the children marked the anniversary with songs and recitations, and that the Manx Society presented a copy of ‘Tom Brown’s’ works to the school. #ManxArchives
