I worked as HCA on COVID ward and one of the saddest aspect, despite our best efforts to provide compassionate care, was the absence of family members. I remember the anguish in the eyes of dying patients as they longed for the comfort of familiar facesβ€οΈ #NationalDayOfReflection

Today is the #NationalDayofReflection marking the three year anniversary of the Covid-19 lockdown.
A time to remember all that happened, everyone we lost and to pay tribute to Nursing and Midwifery Council nursing and midwifery professionals & students for all they did and continue to do.
On this #NationalDayofReflection , our heart is heavy as we remember the greyhounds who couldn't break free from the shackles of the racing industry. But in the midst of our sorrow, let's also celebrate the triumphs & joy found in the greyhounds who have found their forever homes!
