Wonderful to see the trees growing, Japanese Knotweed dead & Comfrey and Cow Parsley blooming now that grazing pressure has been reduced.
This place is going to look amazing!

We 💚 leaky dams (aka #naturalfloodmanagement )
👏 to Forth Rivers Trust TCV Scotland willow-weaving volunteers we have new leaky dams at #GeordiesWood , Glen Devon. They'll #slowtheflow of water downstream, encourage water onto floodplains & boost biodiversity #NatureRestorationFund
The stand of Sea Club Rush (at the back of this image) is helping take some of the energy out of the waves allowing this piece of fragmented saltmarsh to extend into the estuary, further protecting the saltmarsh.
