Hot air balloon ride

My love
and I
are taking
a hot air balloon ride
to find out
what it feels like
to float above

there is silence:
not a thought or motion
all activity whispered and soothed
into oblivion, sinking in the moment…
this instant, when the moon rises
over the sea…and all things
and names and beings,
all manifest and unmanifest
unaware, rolled into one
