Today is #NavajoCodeTalkersDay ! Meet Chester Nez, a Navajo code talker for the U.S. Marines in WWII. In 1942, Nez was one of 29 code talkers who used their unique language to create the unbreakable code that helped win the war.
He was the last original code talker. (1921-2014)

Navajo Code Talker Joe Hosteen Kelwood sings the Marine's Hym. Kelwood, who passed away in September 2016, served with the First Marine Division in World War II on the Pacific front. He received the Congressional Silver Medal for his service. #NavajoCodeTalkersDay #WorldWarII
