'No more deaths from benefit cuts' was our message to the DWP today. All of us deserve to live a good and dignified life.

Video shows protestors gathered with signs, banners and megaphones. Many signs give the names of people killed by benefit cuts.

Many people on benefits are deemed work shy or scroungers.

But the approval process is the most degrading, intrusive thing you will ever go through.

A tick box system does not work. They forget they are dealing with actual people.

The dreaded Caxton house…..to make some noise to the powers that be.

Pushing folks to the limits.
It’s cruel and calculating.
Thriving not just surviving ….

Office bods in warm , dry , comfy surroundings….
Power trippers?
Dignity strippers?
Tick box voyeurism?
Simply cut off their income…
Mothers driven to despair?
Vulnerable in tears alone unable to defend themselves?

On local councils raising council tax only for people on benefits, which disproportionately impacts Disabled people, carers and mothers: 'We need to unite and fight.'

- There it is, Tory Britain nailed in one hashtag. 120,000 deaths associated with a benefit rollout. From a top 10 advanced economy from a gov dept charged with looking after the most vulnerable ppl in Britain.

That's it. Tory Britain in one hashtag.

'I think that's what this building wants people to do. To give up.... But every time we have taken the DWP to tribunal for their injustices, in 13 years, we have won.'

We heard from someone who has lost vital income during the forced migration to Universal Credit. Not received a penny from DWP of what they are owed despite successful legal challenge, in extreme distress. Testimony read by paula peters of DPAC

Today national day of action. Some banners from across the country 👇🏻 from our U.K. government who want us silenced to cover up their crimes against us. Silence is complicity. We demand justice. Repost.

Cops threatened to arrest peaceful disabled activists at the action. I was physically assaulted by a cop and they caused this wheelchair user to cry because of the abuse and trauma inflicted on her by the cops. I wonder if those cops are proud of themselves?
