This HGV was stopped following concerns for the driver. Turns out he was under the influence of cocaine and alcohol, giving a sample of 61 at the roadside. He is now in one of our finest ensuites.

Finished our shift and week off with two drink drivers last night. Both now await court having each blown nearly double the legal limit (59 & 60).
That's 5 drivers intoxicated by drugs or drink arrested this week, by just our car.

PD Bart was on hand last night to assist his colleagues in Crewe. He put his nose to the ground and tracked from an RTC where the driver didn’t want to hang around, he tracked to where local officers had a suspect detained linking the two together. #teamwork #nonefortheroad
