Our mind began to realize change wasnt coming. It radicalized us into dispair. Even though more people than ever had ACAB in their profile, people started coming out less. With recent laws passed against the trans/queer community it almost feels like we're already burnt out

to avoid it. But when we talk to our neighbors we find we can share a laugh, or find common ground much more than we can with the police or politicians of our city, most of which don't even live in Escondido. The question remains.

Why do we allow cops and politicians decide who is worthy of community support, when they are paid for by the community? This system is completely broken, but that's why we continue to build networks of care.

There's so much more, don't confine yourself to attending a mass protest or sabotage. A lot of times we just need to see there's others out there. Because it can be hard to tell online. Instead of being angry people aren't fighting back.

Let's learn to create networks, and community where people feel empowered to fight against their oppressors. Let's get creative, because fascism is coming quick, quicker than many thought.

For many people the murder of George Floyd was a radicalizing moment. It was a clear cut glaring example of what the black community had been trying to tell everyone. That we weren't as far removed from slavery as we might think. That the storm of white supremacy was raging on.

That moment was a line in the sand if you will. Either change was going to happen now, or never. Time passed, the response from those in power was to take a knee for George, then increase the police budget another couple of million.
