The Wrekin Ski Trip will be back next year, and this time Old Hall joining in the fun⛷️The 2025 trip in the Easter Holidays will be open to pupils who will be in Years 5 and 6 at Old Hall, Years 7 and 8 at Wrekin. To sign up keep an eye out for upcoming communications.

Remembering Sergeant John McBean Christie 🇬🇧

Born on 23rd August 1918 at Oldhall, Paisley, the son of Alexander Christie & Margaret Christie (nee McBean).

He joined the RAFVR in July 1938 as an Airman u/t Pilot.

Christie was called up on 1st September 1939 & did his elementary

It was great to see all Year 5 and 6 girls involved in the U11 Cricket Fixtures against Packwood and Wrekin on Wednesday afternoon. Perfect weather for Cricket, the teams demonstrated their batting, fielding and bowling skills showing brilliant progress.

Our Year 4 pupils gave a really informative and entertaining assembly about their Geography topic, ‘Mountains’⛰️Dressed for a hike 4H embarked on the Three Peak Challenge with musical performances. Finally 4H tested the audience with a quiz!

Today Class 2O gave us a fantastic assembly about Kings and Queens👑
The children enacted scenes from the War of the Roses, Henry VIII's many marriages, and gave us two lovely musical performances. It was wonderful to see Year 2 speaking so confidently and clearly.

Today, Lower School embraced and celebrated our outdoor surroundings with four unique and exciting challenges. The children were grouped into Houses and rotated around the activities throughout the day. The children were amazing - what a great way to end the week! 🤗 #OldHall

Congratulations to Year 6 boys Aaron, Adam, Alessio and Leo for qualifying for the IAPS National Swimming Championships in three individual races and a relay race! Up to 4,500 swimmers competed in separate galas, only the top 20 in each event qualify. 👏

Yesterday some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils competed in the Telford and Wrekin Primary Schools Gala. The team swam brilliantly across all strokes competing in individual races and relays. Well done swimmers for coming away with the winners shield🏆

This morning we were treated to a wonderful assembly from Class 4O about their topic Rivers!🌊The assembly was filled with lots of interesting facts, multiple musical performances, and even poems!

Yesterday Reception went on holiday!🏖️
They arrived with their passports ready to check-in and board a flight to their chosen destinations. On arrival they explored the local area before relaxing on the beach at their all-inclusive accommodation before returning home.
