- Over 250 structures destroyed
- At least 2 fatalities related to fires
- Causes under investigation

Very, very thankful that my sweet daughter-in-law’s family is safe. These pics are from the #OregonRoadFire that destroyed their garage and shop. Thankfully, NOT, their home. Her sister and nephew have been evacuated from the #GrayFire . One family hit by two devastating fires!

The UW Atmos Sci satellite loop shows extreme fire behavior at the #OregonRoadFire in Elk, WA. The fire has begun moving south with the wind shift seen in the satellite loop. Being reported at 2,000 acres, 500 more acres in 13 minutes between updates. #wawx

Oregon Rd fire in Elk, WA. Video from a couple hundred yards east of intersection of spring Valley rd and jefferson. Taken last night around 5/6 pm. Seems to be somewhat contained in this area but progressing South towards Mount Spokane. #OregonRoadFire

The Elks Lodge in Colville donated $2,000 to the North County Food Pantry in #Elk today.

The money will go towards items to help families affected by the #OregonRoadFire

#Grayfire yesterday evening around 5. The smoke plume from South Hill, then trying to get on I-90. Thinking of those who have lost homes and the #oregonroadfire up in #elk WA.

Members in the #Elk community are trying to turn these containers into tiny homes for people who lost everything in the #OregonRoadFire

#OregonRoadFire We now have even more air resources working on the fire, 3 fire bosses, 4 helicopters (One of which is by the U.S. Army, and 2 smaller planes mainly checking on the activity and spread of the fire!!!
