'Thade Rahio O Banke Yaar' was sung by Lata Mangeshkar in film Pakeezah (1972), composed by Ghulam Muhammad & filmed on Meena Kumari. BUT the original 'dadra' was sung much earlier by Aftab-e-Mauseeqi Ustad Faiyyaz Khan (d. 1950) of Baroda. Celestial beautè indeed.

Most identify the location as Lucknow,but Shahabuddin lived in Gali Qasim Jan of Delhi! Chawri was nearby. Qabristan could've been Mehndiyan (a doli-ride away). Second town was Rampur or Agra.
