This video is from a beautiful & remote beach on Isle of Ulva. None of this rubbish was generated from the island. All of it was at one time floating in our oceans. This is the reality of many of our coastlines. We all need to take action to #stoptheplastictide Marine Conservation Society

Only my 2nd litter pick of 2021 & it was back to the coastline along Seacliff Rd. 1 bag - 136 items inc. 24 sweet/snack wrappers/packets, 13 ropes, 8 bottles, 7 bottle caps, 7 cans, 7 drink lids, 1 balloon, 1 condom, 1 facemask & a large Jerry Can! We must #StopThePlasticTide !

It’s been a record-breaking year for the Marine Conservation Society Great British beach clean with over 14,000 people taking part across the UK. Here at Adnams, 110 volunteers helped collect 40kg of rubbish including an average 34 cigarette butts /100m and a pair of men’s undies! #STOPthePlasticTide
