The Vagrancy Act is not only an archaic and cruel piece of legislation but it also goes against our country's values. So many across parliament are united in opposition to this cruel act, it's a no brainer and the Government should scrap it immediately. #ScrapTheAct
Councils and organisations have done great work in keeping people safe throughout the pandemic. That kindness and compassion was missing here. The Vagrancy Act doesn't help us end homelessness and punishes people who need our help. We must #ScraptheAct
