Yes, it absolutely is. There is already a precedent set with the Bosnian Genocide in Srebrenica in which Ratko Mladic “evacuated” Bosniaks, i.e forcible displaced them while massacring the [mainly] Bosniak men & boys that he ordered be left behind. It is called “ethnic cleansing”
Israeli ambassadors claiming Srebrenica was not a genocide is frankly disturbing. The idea that the best way to honour genocide victims is to make sure we don’t find any more genocides is morally upside down
A similar dynamic to this occurred in Srebrenica, Bosnia in 1995.
Bosniak Muslim men and boys were separated from the women after Chetnik Serb forces overran a UN safe zone, and then slaughtered en masse in an act of genocide that would lead to the deaths of 7,000+ people.
“Israel has never accepted calling the ‘crime’ in Srebrenica a genocide” said the Israeli Ambassador Vilan. “Srebrenica should not be called a genocide. Israel has been summoned to the Hague for the alleged genocide in Gaza”
They are terrified of the precedent set by Bosnia.
'A genocide in the heart of Europe… #Kosovo wholeheartedly supports the Resolution on Srebrenica genocide. Many Srebrenica mothers have not lived to see you vote on May 2nd', President Osmani says supporting the resolution on #Bosnia 🇽🇰🇧🇦
