These cliffs are called as 'Farallones' in Spanish. These windswept cliffs are a prevalent feature of the Ubaté valley. Here, they are at the border between Cucunubá and Lenguazaque towns. The ones in Suesca and Sutatausa are popular rock climbing spots.

Suesca, in ancient Chibcha language means the 'rock of the birds'. Hence the eagle over the rocks, is a symbol of the town. Founded on 14th March 1537, Suesca is about an hour from Bogotá. It is a part of Almeidas province of Cundinamarca dept.
