School strike week 151. This Friday we are in a tree plantation in Sápmi, Northern Europe. This used to be a forest, but after it was cut down forest companies have planted an invasive tree species that grows faster than the local ones. 1/7

Northern Cyprus has been a staple of non-FIFA football since 2005, hosting the KTFF 50th Anniversary Cup against Kosovo and Sapmi, and never finished lower than 3rd in the 3 non-FIFA World Cups they've participated in.

KTFF last played in 2018 where they finished 2nd.

Currently Sápmi are the only 2 time hosts, in 2008 and 2014. This is out of 7 places that have hosted a non-FIFA World Cup. The tournaments were won by Padania and the County of Nice respectively.
