Just remembered the best thing for me about #DoctorWho #TheCrimsonHorror was the day it was broadcast was also the day I met Sylvester McCoy at a con!
#TheCrimsonHorror is also a more respectful depiction of abuse; the story never attempted to build pathos for Mrs. Gillywater (she's basically a straight up narcissist - as someone in her position would realistically be), and her daughter's anger is presented as valid.
