My dad, a chile pepper farmer in NM, went to ED last weekend w/ 104 fever. Was SARS-CoV-2 negative & wasn’t responding to antibiotics. Cause: a fungus found in soil. Awareness of is essential for early diagnosis & 👍🏽 prognosis. A scary situation turned hopeful.
