Something rare for #postboxsaturday . A 1930s Type D oval pillar box which used to have an integrated stamp machine at one end. 75 were made and only about 15 survive, mainly in London. There’s something art deco-ish about them, I think. Photo taken in June 2023.

A very rare Type E pillar box for #postboxsaturday . This dates from the early 1930s and originally had an integrated stamp machine. 50 were made and only a handful still exist around the country. A real period piece!
