The Virupaksha Temple: As one of the oldest temples in Hampi, the Virupaksha Temple dates back to the 7th century. It's dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known for its towering gopuram (gateway tower) that reaches over 160 feet in height, adorned with intricate carvings.
