After I forgot to actually Mash on my last All Grain Brew I've stepped back into it and it's a clone of Proper Job by St Austell Brewery , great instructions and a great brewday, can't wait to see if my attempt has worked , looking forward to doing an Imperial Stout sometime soon.
Andy Parker Yeah.. make no after work plans for that brewday.. really interesting though. Have you listened to the master brewers on gluten free? They talk about the top certification in the US and having to have maltsters who only use gluten free grains, and having separate brew kit etc
Andy Parker Gotta love a double brewday. Do you heat the additional water in your kettle or do you have a bigger HLT these days?
Andy Parker Yes, we keep the HLT higher for the second mash on the same basis. Brewing less frequently, as we do now I'm on my own, I do try and max the mash tun out to get two beers out per brewday.
Good idea with the hop spider, must get one when I upgrade my underback.
sleep paralysis guy yeah its cool to roam around places i recognize. they did their homework
