This week's #CaminoTuesday theme is 'Injuries' on the #CaminodeSantiago . Though this video is from 2021, in May 2018 a good friend stepped into one of the gaps in front of me and fell when the stream was about half way up the blocks. Wet and limping she continued on. Be careful!

Today's #caminotuesday theme is injury. Having walked for 34 days without incident... I was in Santiago De Compostela for a few days afterward when we heard the Botafumeiro would swing at a mass happening shortly. In my rush, I turned my ankle on this sewer grate running to mass.
This is the initial 'injury', the martyrdom of the apostle James of Zebedee, where the roots of the Camino de Santiago are to be found. #CaminoTuesday .

For today's #caminotuesday theme camino injuries, the morning I left our Porto hotel for the Camino, I bumped my head on the corner of the tv. 30-minute icepack delay & off we went. No other injuries.

24 hours earlier we thought our #CaminoDeSantiago might be over with Mrs C suffering the dreaded shin splints. But the kinesiology tape worked a miracle, as did the garden and beer at La Casa del Abuelo, Hornillos.
'Challenges' on the #caminodesantiago is today's #CaminoTuesday theme:
- Trying to find arrows in the dark with your headlamp at 8:30am!😳
- Having to walk 6km before your first Café con leche☕️
- The steep climb up to O'Cebreiro😩
- Trying to nap before dinner in the albergue😴
