Hi #catchatbookclub , for my book set in the past I chose this, set in 1904. It felt like a Gothic novel and had a very slow, suspenseful burn which kept me guessing ... The conclusion was quite neat and satisfying, but had a few loose ends which I found frustrating!! ๐ฌ๐ฌ

My 2nd read for #catchatbookclub was off topic but a good antidote to all the crime/thriller/suspense books I've read lately! I don't normally read romantic fiction but this was very well written and engaging. ๐ปโค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ

Just finished another amazing adventure in Redwall. Loved it strong characters you will love & be rooting for as they battle against the evil Matlfoxes. #catchatbookclub
Oh and I can recommend books on theme - just remembered ๐น Susanna Gregory has written two series of historical mysteries, both series of books are intriguing and enjoyable. If you like the Shardlake series, you will enjoy these. #CatChatBookClub
