Absolutely 👌🌟...read it in a few days straight. Have covered it in marginalia. It's text book worthy resource for community independents campaigns but also so much more than that.
Looking fwd to Sydney launch!

For example, lithium extraction can lead to water & soil pollution, & cobalt mining has been associated with human rights issues… but

Steven Du ❤️🌱♻️⚡️🚘 AEVA Climate 200 Chris Bowen Electric Vehicle Council of Australia SmartEnergyCouncil Prof Ray Wills👋 Chris Jones Where will all the rare minerals come from for EV batteries? Massive shortfall if present technology is used. Today's EV's are not the long term solution. I support no new fossil fuels but we need solutions that have needed resources.

We have abundant & concentrated mineral deposits required for EVs, including iron, copper, lithium, cobalt, and nickel…

💧MrMagoo 🤯 Steven Du ❤️🌱♻️⚡️🚘 AEVA Climate 200 Chris Bowen Electric Vehicle Council of Australia SmartEnergyCouncil Prof Ray Wills👋 EV batteries don't have 'rare' minerals in them. They have valuable minerals, which we know are available at scale. They are like building materials, capable of storing and delivering electricity for a decade or so. And after that may be recycled and recovered.

💧MrMagoo 🤯 Chris Jones AEVA Climate 200 Chris Bowen Electric Vehicle Council of Australia SmartEnergyCouncil Prof Ray Wills👋 1/ The minerals used in electric vehicle (EV) batteries aren't “rare” in terms of overall abundance in the Earth's crust. Used loosely, the term 'rare' is misleading, as it refers to a low concentration in economically recoverable deposits, not scarcity.

The intrinsic value of these minerals ensures that they won’t be going to landfill.
