HB 608, aka the What is a Woman bill by State Representative Roger Wilder protects women and children in private spaces such as bathrooms and dressing rooms. #lalege
This Thursday, April 18, at 9am, the #LaLege House Labor committee will debate 7(!) anti-freedom/anti-worker bills.
We're asking every union member & labor supporter in Louisiana to join us at the Capitol in Baton Rouge to fight back against these attacks on working people.
Free school tuition for the wealthiest of Louisiana families, all paid for by taxpayer dollars, brought to you by Landry and #lalege . So how much is this costing taxpayers on top of all the Special Sessions and other grift bills #lalege passed?
I know that we know that #lalege is backward, but tuning in to Civil Law to hear legislators insisting that Louisiana culture has not shifted in 20 years but refusing to put a vote to the people see if it has in fact changed in regards to marriage being between a man and a woman
funny to me that a legislator named Chuck from Rosepine is attempting to tell Tiger Stadium how to operate its concessions because that man doesn’t know how to use Apple Pay. 😮💨 #lalege
If it becomes law, Rep. McMakin's HB113 will reinstate an agreement that colleges (LSU) won't charge students to get public records of the budgets, travel, and renovations they pay for. Seems fair. Good idea, if you ask me :)
THIS is why we need DA oversight, tough on crime laws, and more! 4…repeat 4 arrests! For SERIOUS charges including burglary and child desertion Joe Marino III#lalege
