A local walk around this evening, just over half an hour got me a bin bag full of glass and plastic bottles, wrappers, cans, packaging and dog poo bags…
Oh and 50 cigarette butts. 🤢

Free beer!🍺
There's a dozen full Budweiser bottles at the Cairnmuir Road 🚌 stop!

A wee damp solo litterpick along Clermiston Road this afternoon 🧤
Usual shredded mess by the grass cutters, plus Fox Covert Primary kids' litter 😬

Today is Mother Ocean Day! 🐟

Three-quarters of the Earth is covered by the ocean. Without the ocean life on Earth as we know it wouldn’t be possible.

That’s why we must do everything we can to protect our oceans:

Was going to along the Clermiston Road footpath 👨‍🦯
However...
If you can, you better stop litter at the source, right❓
So... off to the Fox Covert campus ✏️📖
doesn't stay in one place so at least this can't end up in the street or up now 👍🏻

As expected, a depressing today. Thousands of dead sardines mixed in with the usual , likely from a burst fishing net. The largest nets can hold as many as 17,000 sardines. One consequence of our industrialisation of the natural world.
