Sad to hear Michel Roux the grandfather of modern cooking has died. Many celeb chefs you see owe him a huge debt as the Roux bros raised the bar of cuisine in the UK. No longer a working chef myself there are some books that you keep and his was one of them. RIP #MichelRoux

I got into French cuisine around a decade ago, when I discovered Michel Roux and his books, (was hooked on the show, The Roux Legacy); he's been a huge inspiration in my style of cooking.
I'm genuinely saddened to hear of his passing. Truly an amazing chef! R.I.P. 🙏
