#HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct just NW of Moorhall Road - lakeside view! First time I have seen a completed section over water too!!

In just a few places #HS2 is starting to appear on the OS map. In the first picture the causeway being used to build the Colne Valley Viaduct approaches Moorhall Road. In the second a short trace of the line route on the former Ruislip Golf Course.

#HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct update: 3) At Moorhall Road pier construction is well advanced to both north and south. Sone of the piers are very high! No sign of the deck-laying rig yet, though: it is still well to the north.

#HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct: “Dominique” has now got to Moorhall Road and is filling in the last two gaps before the section over the road that was completed in the summer.

A couple of months since i was last here and construction of the v-shaped piers is well advanced..also new piers rising to the south of Moorhall road. The place is looking much tidier since last time which always means progress in building projects! #HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct
