Quads today but I focused on outter sweep. So a lot of narrow feet placement and pushing off heels

You can change rep range depending on your goal.

2-5 sets 2-6 reps for power.

3-4 sets 8 - 12 reps for muscle growth

3-4 sets 15- 20 reps to get shredded

You need to learn how to power through a set. It's tough and uncomfortable, but this is where real muscle growth happens.

Nothing else matters if you're unable to safely push yourself to true failure (or close to it).
