This is my ridiculously, unbelievably brave wife today ringing the bell to signal the end of her #cancer treatment - she’s been utterly heroic, and she always inspires me. Also the staff at #stjameshospital have been frankly wonderful #nhs70

Growing up in Afghanistan conflict,I never thought I would live long.

I came to UK as 'uneducated' child refugee,no 1 believed I would achieve much.

Was honoured to be invited by PM to celebrate NHS70 in 2018.

Been tough but privileged to be serving #NHS healthcare frontline.

An incredibly bittersweet journey home from my final @NHSYouthForum Residential. So much amazing work from APPGs to #NHSExpo , #NHS70 , #NHSLongTermPlan and our campaigns. Thank you for the memories- I know you’ll continue to shine ⭐️ I am in awe of each and everyone of you.

Incredible to think it was 1 year since we celebrated #NHS70 in Westminster Abbey! I still have so much pride that our country has an NHS that is open to all!

The NHS saved my life so I give back by volunteering, sharing experiences, educating & through #NHS1000miles 🌟

1 year ago we celebrated #NHS70 , it was an honour to be Westminster Abbey and I’m so grateful that today I’m able to celebrate the 71st birthday of the NHS at a #NHSAssembly meeting. In that time we’ve seen the #NHSlongtermplan #InterimPeoplesPlan . I wonder what will happen this year 👀

Clare Meachin introduces #NIHR70at70 part of the #NHS70 celebrations for a legacy of research development 🤗

#OTD in 1981 Derriford hospital was opened in #Plymouth .
In the weeks before opening there was great interest from the public. 10,000 people were shown around the new building on tours.
In 2016 48,000 people used the hospital each week.
