3 years ago today, the Post realized schools were not reopening but the narrative was set: schools were not considered essential. Today, truancy is at an all-time high, drug use & discipline issues rage, & test scores are down. We tried, #openschools parents. 😔
If you’ve followed me long enough, you know I spent the first ~12-14 months of pandemic advocating for masking, incl. in schools, because of early messages & surely also “that was what the good people did” in-group think.
We held #OpenSchools rallies w/ masked children. My kid:
دا بیا یو نړۍ درد لري.
……
'We feel for you, dear cuties. We know how it feels, but this situation will not last permanently. We hope and believe that the closed doors 🚪 against education will reopen soon.'

PSEB ने ओपन स्कूलों को जारी किए आदेश। बोर्ड ने ओपन स्कूलों 10वीं व 12वीं के लिए स्कूलों को मान्यता देने व रिन्यू करने का शेड्यूल जारी किया। 30 अप्रैल तक आवेदन कर सकेंगे स्कूल। बिना मान्यता वाले स्कूल दाखिला नहीं ले सकेंगे।
