On 20/07/22, #OperationSoteria arrested and charged a 14-year-old boy with a number of offences in relation to the robbery of a motorcycle from the Drylaw area on the 19/07/22 and a number of road traffic offences. He has been held in custody to appear at Court today.
On Tuesday 12th July 2022, #OperationSoteria arrested and charged a 20-year-old man in relation to the theft of a motorcycle from the Comiston area of Edinburgh. A second male has been identified as being involved in the theft and has been reported for warrant.
Officers from Operation Orbit, will be out and about on patrol with their off-road bikes today, assisting #OperationSoteria . Op Orbit improves our ability to prevent and respond to incidents, whilst providing a high visibility patrol and improving engagement with young people.

#OperationSoteria have been continuing their hard work into investigating the theft and antisocial use of motorcycles across the city. Over the past week, enquiries have led to the arrest of three men, two men have been reported for warrant, and eight bikes have been recovered.
