7 DAY FORECAST: A high-pressure system has already started warming us up, and it will continue through Thursday. A lot of locations will hit the 70 degree mark by Thursday. Those conditions won't last long as a low-pressure system will cool us off starting Friday.

⚡️First widespread thunderstorm development this season likely over the Cascades, foothills and central Oregon this Saturday. Reason- sun, instability and a potent cut-off low to the south. No dry fuels, so these will be fun thunderstorms will no concern of fire starts.

The Sun during the eclipse was trying to hide in the contrails. Without a filter on the image diffused out, but a cool effect when it bounces off the phone lens and you get a second image.

You can clearly see why Oregon's drought was eliminated this year and why atmospheric rivers are the main source of moisture for an entire year.
