Hurt where you should have gotten care. Worsened where you should have gotten just listened to.

Having severe ME is also being at risk of being mistreated if you tell your doctors you have ME. Because of the stigma. But being at risk also if you don't tell them. Because it's controling your whole life and health status

Having severe ME is also being thrown and held in psychiatric wards against your will : they put anorexia on your chart while in reality your stomach stopped working, stopped digesting the food your eat

Having ME and ending up with (very) severe ME is because they never listened to you for years, decades, they told you to push, that it was in your head. Misdiagnosing you. Never addressing what was really going on.

Having ME is also being neglected for years and decades by your doctors, ending up more and more sick, and those same doctors putting the blame on you, years later while they never helped you.
