An easy example why i switched from #Ubuntu to #Linux Mint. While many options and details got to be skipped in Ubuntu GNOME - they are all permanent available in Linux Mint. Take a look to their included Texteditors for example and you see what i mean, same with Nemo/Nautilus:

I have disabled all #texteditors and it still cannot figure out why it does this. i use #vscode

i normally write code with #typescript so i usually don't get this issue. i need #help
