Riding ThamesLink trains just reminds me how spoilt the south when it comes to their rail network. Clean, smooth running trains with plenty of space to move around, plenty of carriages and fancy screens telling you info.

- GB-ENG: Has power outlets on most trains (most longer distance ones have 230v; some others do, some don't (see: thameslink train I was on for 2hrs with no power))
- NL: does NOT provide power outside of 1st class

Thameslink Just want to ask about this message on Gatwick Airport's website. I've been told by multiple Thameslink people that there will still be trains going to Gatwick. Is this just Gatwick Airport erring on the side of caution because they don't control the trains?
