There are 14 public bathrooms in all Los Angeles. This is the same city where 60,000 ppl live outside. Then ppl complain about the human waste on the street, and unhoused ppl suffer the consequences of purposefully neglectful city policy with harsher criminalization + harassment.

Pretty sure that passing off counterfeit bills as real, even to people he views with such disdain as the unhoused, is still illegal.

Even more when you post a video confessing to a crime. I’d be worried, John McEntee.

In photo, on the streets of Reno lying outside under the sun under a giant American flag, 65-year-old Don Newman, who says he's an Air Force veteran, says he has been unhoused for about a year now, after not having enough money to support himself and his wife.

On May 13, 1985, the city of Philadelphia bombed its OWN citizens, causing the destruction of nearly three blocks and leaving 250 people unhoused. On the 39th Anniversary of the MOVE bombing, we honor the MOVE family. THREAD 🧵

That someone who named herself “Oriental Pearl” managed to get nearly a million views exploiting the unhoused in Japan has shattered what little faith in humanity I had left.

Unhoused people living in tents.

People with mental health conditions unable to access support and care.

Adults and children living in poverty, unable to eat even with food banks.
